Géne Strouven

Born in January 1949 in Kerkrade, the Netherlands.

From 1980 onwards my leisure activities are mainly focused on mathematics and painting.
With the help of the knowledge I got from my profession in the field of simulation and software, I was able to develop my own visualization program in C++.
Stereometric and trigonometric figures I can thus convert into images and develop.

I am inspired by works of: Escher, Al Held Vasarly, Hans Hinterreiter

I also make(d) several designs in VRML and Open FX.
My paintings are not exclusively mathematical images, but I also like to create tight figurative representations.

For an overview of my work see:

Since my retirement in May 2014, I now have the opportunity to make this hobby my life's work.

Furthermore, I write in Krichroädsjer plat and I am a member of dialektvereniging
