In 1990 I started to follow drawing workshops at the
Volksuniversiteit in Geleen. After a period of relative calm I picked up the gauntlet and in 2005 I took the paint brush in hand and started painting in my own (way). Within the SKP I followed various workshops to improve my technique and to meet people with the same interest as I do. Since I live in Brunssum I joined the Stichting Kunstkring Parkstad in 2011. In 2020 I discovered modeling.
Together with a fellow member we share a space where we can indulge in chamotte clay. The Raku firing in the open air and the unknown and unexpected end results makes the making of ceramic artworks a nice leisure time activity.

Meanwhile, I have been fulfilling an administrative function within the art circle with great pleasure since 2012.
